The latest on Ubuntu and browser support

It’s been tough getting our GPU working. The proprietary binary GPU drivers don’t support the many different versions of graphic stack frameworks like Mesa. But the good news is that after a huge amount of hard work we have managed to get things running with the latest Ubuntu LTS release 22.04. Most of the apps were tested and are working fine as seen in the table below. However, we still have plenty of incompatibility issues for applications that depend on X11 instead of Mesa, so our work continues. 

On the browser side, it’s getting exciting. Everything runs well – here are some screenshots:
