New initiative empowers schools, universities, open-source projects, and AI startups worldwide with RISC-V hardware and ecosystem support
DeepComputing, a global leader in RISC-V innovations, today announced the official launch of its RISC-V Support Programs, a comprehensive initiative designed to accelerate RISC-V adoption and innovation across education, open-source, and AI industries. The announcement coincides with the RISC-V Summit North America 2025.
The RISC-V Support Program provides hardware, software, and ecosystem support to schools, universities, open-source projects, and AI startups worldwide. Collaborating closely with ecosystem partners including RISC-V International, Framework, and MetaComputing, DeepComputing’s goal is clear — to make RISC-V accessible, sustainable, and impactful for the next generation of developers, educators, and entrepreneurs.
As part of this initiative, DeepComputing is officially launching the “100 Schools & Universities” program at the RISC-V Summit North America, while the “100 Open Source Projects” and “100 AI Startups” programs will follow soon.
The RISC-V Support Programs are part of DeepComputing’s broader commitment to building an open, modular, and developer-first computing ecosystem. A few institutions have already joined the program, including the student club from Politecnico di Torino, SemitoV, and Zhongyuan High School — with more to come!
