The RISC-V Summit Europe 2025 in Paris was a landmark event—and DeepComputing was proud to be part of it. From product launches to thought leadership and community engagement, here are the highlights of our exciting week:
We officially launched the DC-ROMA RISC-V AI PC, the world’s first developer-focused AI PC powered by RISC-V. Featuring over 40 TOPS of AI computing and built with the ESWIN 7702X SoC and SiFive P550 cores, this groundbreaking system brings together open-standard computing, modular design via Framework laptops, and open-source OS support including Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 LTS. It’s designed for developers building the future of local AI on RISC-V.



On the evening of May 14, we proudly sponsored the RISC-V Summit Europe Reception. It was a wonderful night of networking and celebration. Congratulations to the three lucky winners of the raffle who took home:
During the social event, our CEO Yuning officially launched the “100 RISC-V Schools and Universities Program” in collaboration with RISC-V International and Framework. The initiative aims to support and sponsor 100 schools and universities with RISC-V devices and training over the next year.

Our founder and CEO, Yuning Liang, participated in the panel “Catalysing a New Era of European Computing Innovation with RISC-V” alongside industry leaders from Silicon Catalyst and Semidynamics, moderated by Trina Watt of Rivos.
Together, they discussed how RISC-V’s open and flexible nature is enabling region-specific innovation with global scalability—and why Europe has a unique opportunity to lead in the next wave of computing.
Big congratulations to Marcel Zak from Siemens, who won the Mainboard Swap Challenge by completing the task in just 3 minutes and 34 seconds! It was a great demonstration of how easy it is to upgrade your Framework Laptop with our RISC-V Mainboard.

In a compelling session, Tan Siret AKINCI from Politecnico di Torino and DeepComputing presented a live demo:“Profiling Whisper AI Model on RISC-V: CPU, GPU, and NPU Performance on the DC-ROMA AI PC.”
Tan showcased how the Whisper.cpp speech-to-text model runs across CPU, GPU (via Vulkan), and NPU on the DC-ROMA AI PC, offering attendees a deep dive into real-world AI deployment on RISC-V platforms. This was a must-see session for developers optimizing AI workloads across heterogeneous computing resources.
