FOSS for All is a community-driven conference in Korea dedicated to Free and Open Source Software. The event gathers open-source contributors, developers, and advocates from around the world to exchange ideas, showcase innovation, and explore new possibilities for collaboration. This year marks the very first edition of FOSS for All, making it a milestone event for the open-source community in Korea.
As DeepComputing’s first participation in a Korean open-source event, FOSS for All provided a valuable opportunity to meet local developers, educators, and community organizers passionate about openness and collaboration. We were inspired by the strong technical depth and enthusiasm of Korea’s open-source community.
Through this exchange, we saw great potential for RISC-V in Korea.
Joey Zeng from DeepComputing shared the company’s ongoing journey of bringing RISC-V into real, consumer-ready products — from the DC-ROMA RISC-V Laptop to the latest DC-ROMA RISC-V AI PC powered by the ESWIN EIC7702 SoC with a 40-TOPS NPU. The session highlighted how DeepComputing integrates open hardware and open software to build a complete RISC-V ecosystem, covering hardware, OS, and AI applications.
Our participation at FOSS for All marks a new step in connecting global open-source communities. DeepComputing will continue working closely with developers, partners, and institutions in Korea and beyond to expand the RISC-V ecosystem and promote open innovation.
